Houston, Texas– Portfolio Resident Services, Inc. is glad to announce that the organization has received a generous first donation for The Purpose Fund from Ms. Virginia Couch.
PRS knows that this is the first of many donations for this scholarship program established in 2021 with aims to extend the PRS commitment through academic and skilled-trade study.
The program is based on evidence that suggests by supporting financial hardship that deter continuing education, last-dollar funding can enable low-income, high-potential students to maximize their potential in the classroom, earn credentials, and sustainably strengthen the communities from which they come.
Throughout scholar experience, The Purpose Fund strives to support recipients by engaging with them and their institutions, insuring they have the resources needed to succeed from enrollment to employment.
PRS is one of the largest third-party resident services providers in the United Sates and currently serves over 300 apartment communities. This impacts more than 60,000 residents in eight states, including: Texas, Mississippi, New Mexico, California, Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, and Virginia and PRS continues to expand!
