PRS Life

PRS is passionate about advocacy and collaboration as part of our mission to build community and lift up those in need. By working on both macro and micro levels, we’re able to impact not just the residents we serve, but society as a whole and even legislative direction when it comes to housing.

Advocacy

We are connected and deeply aligned with advocacy organizations such as the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations (TACDC) and the Texas Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (TALHFA), with many of our team members serving on boards and/or committees.

Each year, our TAAHP-affiliated members attend “Rally Day” at the state capitol alongside other kindred spirits, united in our goal of championing affordable housing solutions to state representatives and senators.

Collaboration

Other examples of our mission in action include partnering with law enforcement and community leaders through events like National Night Out, collaborating with community partners to distribute school supplies to students in need via Operation Back to School and helping to provide holiday gifts for low-income families through Toys for Tots. These are just a few examples of how we amplify voices and fulfill needs in the communities we serve.
