As Senior Director of Operations at Portfolio Resident Services (PRS), Cyrus Martin works to develop and implement tools to help optimize systems and evaluate programming in order to best serve clients and residents, as well as usher in innovation and technological advancement to ensure PRS stays on the cutting edge of its field.

Prior to his current role, Cyrus served on the PRS board of directors for five years, allowing him to become connected with the company’s vision and mission. What he enjoys most about his job is the people — working with team members, community partners and residents to evoke authentic change.

Lifting up others has always been in the cards for Cyrus. He is a Licensed Master of Social Work and Chemical Dependency Counselor, and spent several years as Vice President of Operations at an esteemed behavioral health enterprise. Now, he runs a thriving private practice alongside his role at PRS.

As an ABD doctoral candidate for his PhD in Human Services Organizational Leadership, Cyrus is currently conducting IRB-endorsed human-subject research on social work interns and their connection to wellness and identity development. He holds a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, and a Bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Houston. 

Aside from his extensive experience and credentials, when asked about his favorite accomplishments, Cyrus recounts being a husband and father of four. In his free time, he loves traveling and camping with his family, music, and focusing on health and fitness by exercising and eating well.
